Atlanta based Calloquy, architects of the first platform intentionally designed to support how litigation is practiced in today’s post COVID world, is proud to announce the opening of its office in Tustin, California. Eager to bring its secure court reporting services to the west coast, Calloquy has opened its new office at the Flight at Tustin Legacy, the multi-building redeveloped former Navy and Marine Corps Air Station in the heart of Orange County. The new office is in one of the five LEED Gold Certified buildings at the Flight at Tustin.

“I love that we are at the site of a former military station as cyber security is our chief concern when selecting and designing our spaces. You can still see former Navy and Marine Corps insignia and signage – it’s a daily reminder for us to always be vigilant in the ongoing fight against data breaches, as data security is of paramount importance to our law firm customers and corporate clients,” said Nathan Regan, Calloquy’s Chief Operating Officer.

To accommodate a growing team of on-demand court reporters, a section of custom designed PODs (Privacy on Demand) units occupy one half of the suite. “Our PODS provide a white-glove standard that top law firms and businesses expect when conducting legal proceedings remotely. It was imperative – and the architects at IA worked closely with us on this – that the space reflects our commitment to securing law firm client data in remote proceedings,” said Regan.

In addition to showcasing its unique company brand and culture, the location fosters collaboration and offers multiple dynamic outdoor work environments, providing a healthy workplace for the court reporters and other team members that are joining the company. “Our court reporters are part of the Calloquy family. We treat them with the respect and dignity they deserve – full access to PTO, health care and retirement benefits,” noted Regan. Further highlighting Calloquy’s legal mission and dedication to increasing access to justice for everyone, Calloquy’s conference rooms and shared workspaces are all named after geographically relevant landmark Supreme Court cases which emphasize and remind us of the long and often meandering paths to justice many of our fellow citizens have taken and continue to take.

“We are so happy to be in Tustin and delighted to be part of the community taking shape at Flight at Tustin. The acres on which our office sits have been the site of so much entrepreneurship, hard work, and innovation from orange groves to the construction of blimp hangars. We are proud to continue this legacy,” said David Carter, Calloquy’s CEO. “Our Tustin location completes the build out of our nationwide footprint, allowing us to positively disrupt the market through innovation and technology and serve the nation’s top law firms coast-to-coast.”

Calloquy is the first virtual legal proceedings platform intentionally built for the way litigation is practiced now. Its technology and court reporting services empower attorneys to conduct and manage legal proceedings more effectively and securely, while increasing productivity and reducing costs. The company is helping to shape The Next Era of LitigationTM by combining legal industry-specific videoconferencing technology, world-class security, white glove court reporting services, and an access-to-justice social mission. Calloquy is a Public Benefit Corporation, and its commercial litigation clients fuel that mission by enabling the company to provide free platform access to legal service organizations and pro bono cases.
