Harrison Lance, NYSE Head of Capital Markets – Southeast, hosted NYSE Group President Lynn Martin at the Atlanta Trend CEO Leadership Luncheon on July 30th, bringing together 70 of Atlanta's top executives for a candid conversation about the exchange's deepening commitment to the region.

Lance opened the dialogue by drawing out Martin on why the Southeast matters to the world's largest stock exchange - and Martin didn't mince words. "The clear majority of public companies in this section of the country are listed with us," she said, pointing to the region's growing economic weight. The exchange, she added, is paying even closer attention to the Southeast given its business-friendly environment, though she was quick to note the relationship is already well established. Gesturing to the venue itself, Martin told Lance: "Look where we are now - Invesco has been a NYSE listed company for years and we have always had a great relationship with Andrew Schlossberg, the current CEO, and Marty Flanagan before that."

When Lance pressed Martin on what's next for NYSE, she laid out both a timeless mission and a bold near-term bet. The core mandate hasn't changed - remaining the broadest and largest source of capital and liquidity in the world - but Martin revealed that innovation is very much underway. "We continue to apply our expertise to advance market infrastructure through thoughtful and deliberate innovation, including the development of a platform for trading and on-chain settlement of tokenized securities," she said.

The luncheon, held at Invesco's Atlanta headquarters, is a bi-monthly, invitation-only event organized by Atlanta Trend for its community of CEOs and senior executives.
