Coca-Cola has ranked among the world’s Top 25 Employers, according to Fortune Magazine.
Google, SAS and NetApp are the world’s top three multinational corporations to work for, according to a recent study by the workplace consultant and research firm Great Place to Work, Fortune reported.
To qualify as one of the top 25 companies, these companies should have appeared on at least five of GPTW’s national great workplace lists, employ more than 5,000 people worldwide, and must have 40% of their workforce located outside of their home country.
The following are some of the U.S. companies ranked on the list:
2. SAS
Industry: Information Technology
Headquarters: Cary, N.C.
Revenue: $3.02 billion
Employees: 13,679
The company has an Employee Volunteer Fund that provides a cash contribution to education-based nonprofit organizations where an employee has donated at least 50 hours of volunteer support in three out of four quarters throughout a year.
4. W.L. Gore & Associates
Industry: Manufacturing & Production | Textiles and textile products
Headquarters: Newark, D.E.
Revenue: $3.09 billion
Employees: 10,337
At Gore, leadership positions are earned, not appointed.
7. Marriott
Industry: Hospitality | Hotel/Resort
Headquarters: Bethesda, MD
Revenue: $12.78 billion
Employees: 203,685
The company’s CEO announced, in a blog post, that at Marriott, the employee, not the customer, comes first.
10. American Express
Industry: Financial Services & Insurance | Banking/Credit Services
Headquarters: New York
Revenue: $33 billion
Employees: 62,800
The company’s “BlueWork” initiative, launched in 2010, attempts to redesign workspaces, provide flexible work arrangements like telecommuting and shared positions and to support technology that makes it easier to work remotely.

Industry: Manufacturing & Production
Headquarters: Austin, TX
Revenue: $1.17 billion
Employees: 7,134
The company’s CEO, James Truchard — known as “Dr. T” among employees — frequently drops in on staff and meetings throughout the company to keep apprised of the business, communicate strategies, and hear feedback. Truchard calls it “sneaker management.”

Headquarters: Hopkinton, MA
Revenue: $23.2 billion
Employees: 47,812
This spring, the company raised $300,000 in partnership with charity:water to build clean water wells in Africa.

Industry: Manufacturing & Production | Food Products
Headquarters: McLean, VA
Revenue: $33 billion
Employees: 75,000
Free candy, drinks and ability to bring pets into the workplace are some of the perks that come with working at this maker of candy, beverages and pet food.
25. The Coca-Cola Company

Headquarters: Atlanta, GA.
Revenue: $46.9 billion
Employees: 130,600
Last year, the company launched an entrepreneurship program called the Coca-Cola Founders that gives small business owners access to Coca-Cola’s relationships, resources and reach before they develop their next startup.
