Spirit Airlines has named Hilton Sturisky as Chief Information Officer, effective May 5. In this role, Hilton is responsible for all enterprise-wide Information Technology initiatives with complete responsibility over the IT organization. Hilton will ensure that Spirit Airlines continues to manage existing systems and implement new systems that optimize the company’s position as a low-cost competitive airline.

He is an adaptable enthusiastic leader, encouraging innovative ideas that support business growth.”
Prior to joining Spirit, Hilton served as the SVP, IT at BCD Travel, a full service corporate travel management company with more than $20B in airline revenue. In this capacity, Hilton had global responsibility for all technology applications and infrastructure supporting the company’s customers and internal functions. During his career, Hilton has also held senior IT positions with The Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta and Pfizer in New York.

Hilton is an advisory board member for CloudeAssurance which offers software-as-a-service and mobile platform consumer protection in accordance with industry cloud best practices, standards and regulatory compliance.
He holds an MBA from Emory University, a Masters in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa.
