Delta ranked No. 10 overall on Forbes’ second-annual Most Trusted Companies in America list, among 300 companies cited by the news outlet as the most trusted in the nation.

“Congratulations to every member of the Delta team for this outstanding honor,” said Delta CEO Ed Bastian. “Being named one of America’s most trusted companies reflects the care and service our people consistently deliver for our customers and the communities we serve. These values have helped us reach 100 years and will carry us into our next century of flight.”

A welcoming approach coupled with an elevated culture of care is what makes Delta the airline of choice for its customers. At the heart of Delta’s strong brand trust is the extraordinary work of its people, who are the driving force behind the airline’s recognition as the industry’s most awarded airline.

Throughout its Centennial year, Delta has established its leadership in the industry with multiple noteworthy recognitions, including achieving a No. 11 listing on Fortune’s World’s Most Admired Companies list, Cirium’s Platinum Award for exceptional timeliness and operational excellence for the third consecutive year, and placing No. 2 in Forbes list of World’s Best Employers 2025.

Additionally in August, Delta was featured in Forbes’ list of America’s best employers by state, including being a No. 1 ranking in Georgia, Michigan and Utah.

Forbes’ second annual Most Trusted Companies in America list evaluated more than 50 metrics across six key categories: employee sentiment, customer sentiment, financial performance, business trajectory, media perception and workforce stability.

Companies were eligible if they were headquartered in the U.S. and employed over 10,000 people domestically. Certain organizations — such as government agencies, schools, and nonprofits — were excluded.

Data was sourced from partners including Glassdoor, HundredX, Crunchbase, SignalAI, People Data Labs, and Forbes itself. Each category score was calculated using relevant submetrics, normalized, and adjusted for industry benchmarks. These scores were then combined into a final trust ranking, with Delta Air Lines earning the No. 10 spot overall.
