ServiceMaster Brands (SMB) is excited to announce that Tricia Kinney has joined the company as Chief Legal and Compliance Officer, where she will be leading SMB’s Legal team globally. Prior to joining SMB, Tricia was Vice President & Deputy General Counsel at Kimberly-Clark, where she led all legal support globally for Kimberly-Clark Professional, the B2B business sector of Kimberly-Clark, as well as for Kimberly-Clark’s enterprise-wide Global Supply Chain. Tricia has over 20 years of experience in both corporate and litigation roles, having been an integral member of, and business partner to, multiple C-suite level leadership teams. Prior to joining Kimberly-Clark, Tricia was a litigation partner at Powell Goldstein LLP (now Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner) where she managed an array of complex commercial matters in the U.S. and worldwide.

Tricia is a graduate of Boston College and Vanderbilt University School of Law, and an alumna of Leadership Atlanta Class of 2020. 

Tricia also currently serves on the board of directors for Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta, Housing Tonight, Inc. and Project Light. She also previously served as a trustee for The Children’s School, as well as a director for CHOA’s Sports Network Corporate Board and the Atlanta Legal Aid Society Advisory Board.

Founded in 1929, ServiceMaster Brands operates a network of 1,940 franchisees through its portfolio of five brands in 50 states and nine countries. ServiceMaster has been a leader in home services businesses for nearly a century and was founded as one of America’s first franchise businesses. ServiceMaster does business under five brands that generate more than $2.5B in system-wide sales: ServiceMaster Restore, ServiceMaster Clean, Merry Maids, AmeriSpec, and Furniture Medic. 

Roark Capital Group acquired ServiceMaster in October of 2020, in a carveout from ServiceMaster Brands Global Holdings, now named Terminix (NYSE: TMX). Roark is an Atlanta‐based private equity firm with $20 billion in assets under management. Roark focuses on investments in consumer and business service companies, specializing in franchised and multi‐location business models in the restaurant, specialty retail, consumer and business services, and health, wellness and beauty sectors. 

ServiceMaster recently announced its relocation to Atlanta – One Glenlake Parkway – to help the company better serve its franchise network. The company expects to hire at least 50 additional staff in Atlanta in the coming months
